Faq and Answers That you Should Know Before Deciding to Work From Home..
There are many questions that go un-answered in the home business industry and I am here to clear a few things up. Why? I want to help save people a lot of time, money and heart ache right from the start. I want you to completely understand what you are getting into or about to get into when you decide to jump ship into the overwhelming sea of entrepreneurialism.
RULE NUMBER ONE: DO NOT QUIT YOUR DAY JOB...yet! Never, Ever quit your job until you have a steady flow of income of over $10,000 a month coming in consistently! You may be wondering right now if that is even possible working form home. It could never be more truer and that figure is actually on a small scale. OK, here are the top questions that get asked or should I say never get asked that tend to lead to people's confusion and misconceptions.
1. Starting a Business of Your Own Will Require Start-up Costs. There is no such thing as starting a business for free. You can't get something for nothing. This business opportunity is not a free ride. In fact, if you can show me a business that will pay you a handsome comp plan, without putting a dime into it, then I will show you a scam and good luck getting the so-called promised check -- there never was one to begin with. Even stuffing envelopes costs money! You may say, "I don’t have any money." If you were a millionaire, you wouldn’t be reading this. Your desire to increase the quality of your life will motivate you to figure out a way. Where there's a will there's a way... remember?
2. Understand That You Will Not Get Paid For Your Time. Trading time for dollars is considered a JOB. Being an Entrepreneur, you get paid for results, for producing, for action, for staying in the game, for your support, FOR-EVER!
3. Know That You Are Your Own Boss. No One Is Going To Make You Work. That's right! In case you forgot, you will be self-employed! That means that you are responsible for your actions and your results. It's entirely up to you if you succeed... or if you don’t! That may sound harsh, but think of it this way... if you consistently make deposits of $15-$20,000 a month into your bank account, you can only blame yourself, right?
4. Plan Your Work And Work Your Plan. You must set a schedule to operate your business and stick to it. Consistency is the key. It's not what you do that matters, but what you do daily.
5. You Will Be Setting Goals, Both Financial and Personal. Setting short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals. Some of these goals will scare you, and should scare you! You must have something to shoot for when operating your own business. Otherwise, you wont have a plan and if you don’t have a plan, you wont be focused, clear, or on purpose.
6. Don’t Take Anything Personal. At times, you will be told no! You will have the door slammed in your face and you will get caught off your guard. But know that if you are clear and focused on your goals, you will reach them regardless, and NOTHING will stop you from reaching your goals.
7. Develop Confidence. This is something that some people might have to work on. It was for me. The first thing I learned was not to be confident in my opportunity, but, rather, be confident in myself. Believe in yourself. Have confidence in yourself and you can work magic in this industry!
8. Help People and You Help Yourself. You will not succeed in this industry if you are in it for yourself alone. The key is; you are helping other people break free from their chains of financial burden. By helping people, you ultimately reach your own objective. This also goes with accepting help from other like minded people. We are all here to help each other succeed.
9. Become a Risk Taker. Operate From Your Heart, Not Your Head. If you risk nothing, you get nothing. Who wants nothing? Not me, not you. If you let your head decide for you, you will think of every reason not to decide on something. Go with your gut and intuition. This is where things start to happen for you. Go out on a limb... that's where the fruit is.
10. Figure Out Your 'Why'. This is probably the most important thing in this list. Your 'why' is your reason. Your reason for wanting to get out of the rat race and start creating a life by design. Your reason for wanting to become an Entrepreneur. Your reason for being a success. Your reason for freeing up your time. Your reason for wanting more out of life. Without knowing what your 'why' is; you wont be able to set goals, create a plan, be able to focus, or be on purpose. Your 'why' will motivate you and move you to get started. Your 'why' creates desire and that desire will determine whether or not you will do anything about your situation.
11. Understand that once you decide to join a home business opportunity there are going to be more out of pocket costs. DO NOT believe anyone telling you that once you pay the start up, there will be no more expenses. That is a bold faced lie and you should hang up the phone or slam the door, abruptly. Here are a few things that you can look forward to paying for; office expenses, whether it be a new phone, computer, headsets, long distance services, advertising and marketing expenses... etc. Now let me clear on something, there are numerous ways to generate leads and for the most part, we teach our team how to eliminate advertising costs, but there are still a few upfront costs to get the ball rolling.
12. You don't have to buy every little nifty device to make money online. If you have a computer, a phone (with long distance) and a few good licks of sense in your head you can make money online. Once you get started your inbox will be flooded with proposals and new "gotta have this or you will fail" technique!
13. Don't be Afraid of High Priced Start up costs. These should not scare you, they should encourage you. Think about it for a minute... If you buy into a business for $30 bucks and try to recruit others to follow your example, you might as well give up your dream of quitting you day job. Why, simply because, it will take you forever to make big dollars and the quality of people in your down line wont be as committed to their business to produce results. Going with a company that has a high priced start up cost does several things. 1. You attract high priced people into your business. 2. You are less likely to quit 3. Your team is less likely to quit. 4. You can retire a lot sooner than pushing $30 vitamins and lotions. 5. You are less likely to baby-sit your down line because they are top tier people and they are going to make their business a success just like you are.
To sum everything up; If you understand that it will cost money to make money. You will get paid for results not time. Take responsibility for your business. Create a plan. Set goals to achieve that plan. Understand that rejection isn't personal. Be confident in yourself. Help people first. Make decisions from your heart. And tap into that burning desire. Know that you initial start up investment is not the end of the line, although it should be the only big' investment you make. Don't overwhelm yourself with every new gadget and offer that comes across your inbox. (most of them are junk and don’t deliver what they promise) And finally, start looking at the big picture and see yourself retiring from your job sooner by going for the big dollars instead of Mickey Mouse chump change.
